Install the Open Platform as an App on Your Phone

The Open Platform at platform.crucialtracking.com.au is a web app, so there is nothing to download from an app store. You can still put it on your phone’s home screen: it gets its own icon and opens full-screen without the browser’s address bar. It takes about a minute on Android or iPhone.

Add it on Android (Chrome)

1. Open Chrome and go to platform.crucialtracking.com.au.
2. Tap the Install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar (a small arrow icon, sometimes labelled Install), then tap Install.
3. If the icon isn’t showing, tap the three-dot menu (⋮) at the top right, tap Add to Home screen (on some phones it’s called Install app), then tap Install or Add.

The Crucial Tracking icon appears on your home screen and in your app list. Tap it to open the platform full-screen.

Add it on iPhone (Safari)

1. Open Safari and go to platform.crucialtracking.com.au.
2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) in the toolbar.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen. Change the name if you like, then tap Add.

The Crucial Tracking icon appears on your Home Screen. Tap it to open the platform full-screen. The first time you open the icon, sign in again — the Home Screen app keeps its own session, then stays signed in.

Remove it

Removing the icon doesn’t touch your account or your trackers, and you can add it again any time.

• Android: press and hold the icon, then tap Uninstall (or Remove).
• iPhone: press and hold the icon, tap Remove App (some iPhones say Delete Bookmark), then confirm.
