How long does the battery actually last?

Up to 70 days per charge in intelligent mode on the CT-A03. Recharge over USB in about 7 hours — easy to do the week before a trip, or whenever the low-battery alert nudges you.

Does it need any wiring?

No — the CT-A03 mounts with a magnet and runs on its own battery. If you also want the tow vehicle covered, the hardwired CT-V03 wires in once and never needs charging.

Will it work on the road up north?

Your tracker uses the network coverage provided by Telstra and Optus, Australia's two largest mobile networks. If one network isn't available where your vehicle or asset is, the tracker can connect on the other. Two networks instead of one removes a single point of failure, but no mobile network covers all of Australia, and reception in any given spot depends on terrain, buildings and distance to the nearest tower. What happens if the caravan moves without me?

You get a movement alert on your phone the moment it happens, and a live trail on the map from then on — a solid head start for you and the police to get it back.
