How long do the batteries actually last?

The CT-A03 runs up to 70 days per charge, the CT-A02 about a year between charges, and the CT-A01 stretches to three years. The less often a tracker reports, the longer it lasts — which is why the $7/mo Power Saver plan with 2-minute updates suits gear that mostly sits still.

Will I know if a trailer gets hooked up and towed?

Yes — tow detection picks up movement and alerts you, so an unplanned Saturday-night tow doesn't stay quiet. You'll see where it's headed on the live map.

Why is the CT-A01 different to buy?

The CT-A01 takes a Telstra Business IoT SIM only — none of our store data plans cover it, so it's sold outright and you arrange the SIM. We flag this before checkout, not in the fine print. If you'd rather everything on one bill, the CT-A03 uses our plans.

How do the trackers attach to gear?

They're compact, self-contained units with no wiring to run — fix one out of sight on the trailer chassis, in the site box or on the machine. Our install guides show placements that keep signal strong and the tracker out of casual view.
